Catoctin Mountain Park Hike

The 4-H GOES Club went for a fall hike in Catoctin Mountain Park.

For one of our first meetings, Paul Kazyak, a retired Maryland DNR fish biologist, showed the 4-H GOES Club how

4-H GOES tried scubadiving at the quarry in New WIndsor.

The 4-H GOES Club joined the Maryland Department of Natural Resources in removing invasive water chestnuts from the Chesapeake Bay.

The 4-H GOES Club potted tree seedlings for future restoration efforts.

Maryland Department of Natural Resources has allowed the 4-H GOES Club to participate in their annual bog turtle surveys.

In 2015, 4-H GOES participated in the WAVE project through the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

Each May, the 4-H GOES Club kayaks and picnics at Piney Run Park.
