2019 Red Knot & Horseshoe Crab Trip
In 2019, the 4-H GOES Club camped at Cape Henalopen State Park in Delaware to learn about the interconnectedness of the endangered Red Knots returning from the tip of South America and the spawning Horseshoe Crabs. The horseshoe crab eggs are essential to the birds gaining enough weight to continue their journey to their Artic breeding grounds.
